VTCC1.com series

Currently having fun in the VTCC1 Spec series 14 Nascar Classic's,  heard about it last week, so only running last 3 (oval) races. Did 1 last Friday on Motegi Sp. got Lobby A, and finished 2nd in race 1 and 2, and a 3rd (reverse gr.) in race 3. Sedona- and Indy to go. Fun racing with no ,headless' behaviour!
I made a 1983 Mark Martin car 4 this 1. (if anybody want's it, let me know)  :-)

Sedona Sp. race: A, Won 1st and 2nd race and starting 3rd race last because of reverse grid, was in 7th allready after 3 laps because i could nicely avoid this on :

At the restart i dropped some places because host called out to restart in the middle of the corner, bit confusing, and got a message l8r from him saying it was a mistake by him. Anyway, 1 lap l8r there was a bit of a hassle and i dropped to 14th out of 15. 3 wide thru final corner on Sedona Sp. proved to much. In the remaining time/laps (12 minutes) i drove myself back to a 2nd place finish!.    So was a nice evening, 1 event to go on Indy now.

VTCC Classic Nascar series finished. Did 9 races, A lobby, 4 win's, 3 2nd places and 2 3rd places. Happy with that :-)  
Here some shot's of the last race's and a very close finish in the 2nd of them were i had quite a lead, scraped the wall between 1 and 2, and had 2 guys drafting fast towards me, only had 3 feet left on finish line!!. Sweating ;-)

Oh, and i know the nxt series they're starting isn't gonna work 4 most of u guys (14.00 CST Friday's), but IF u can, i think it'll be fun!.

yea, thats 3pm for me, im still at work then. it seems alot of series dont work out time wise for me. anything after 9pm EST works good for me. If you know of any series in that time frame, let me know.

IF u don't work on Saturday's maybe the VM Classic series?!. And there will b upcoming event's on VM and VTCC, not announced yet, that might suit u. I'll post them. ;-)

Boy, did i have fun yesterday!. 2 races on Maple. With the 5 turbo and the Clio V6. A 2nd place, and 5th place finish(could have been 2nd but i, and others, had 2 make 2 pitstops `cause computer couldn't stop the car in pit with me coming in 2 fast   ) .
Was a lot of fun on Maple again. Had 1 heart stopper hitting the curb, but with some correction i could save it. Pfff, was close.     




Tonight we hit Sunset Full and Reverse with the V8 Saloons. Let's c what we can pull off with the Audi!    :

Spec Series 15 finished :
2nd place overall and 1st place in the independent's.

VTCC V8 Saloon's also finished :

5th overall (only 11 point's from 4th, shame i got thumbed of intentionally on Sunset, guy got a series ban from that)

1st place independent's (282 point's over 2nd)

Thank's guys!, For the past 8 weeks i've been running 4 Tournaments (wednesday, Friday, saturday, sunday) and been testing/helping out for a Endurance (the other days lol), ooh, and as you know in between i made the Nissan paint wich entered the T10 Livery Comp. and is now allready at 530 downloads in a few weeks. (and i should mention making some 27 million credits of it)  Great!!

Besides all this i was working to, so you could say it's been quite busy yeah.  Now 3 Series have finished and one has 2 more events to go, in wich we stand 3rd and 4th overall and 1st in the Teams!!.   Been fun, rewarding, but getting quite exhausted by now.

After getting use to the controls on FM5....and they are quite tricky.... I may not be able to drive on FM4 Lol.

Hey Marco, I just registered on the VTCC1 forum, as soon as I am accepted I will get a driver number and I am looking at the Touring Car season 6 starting 4/6. Are you going to be running that one? I built and tried out the Vauxhall Insignia VXR and am liking the way I can handle it, I will probably run that one. Anyhow if you are running in that one let me know. Thanks.
